Find 11 hidden poets – plus one if you prefix ‘Mc’
If you should smoke at seventeen,
However hard you try to hide
Those fingers stained with brown in gloves,
Your mother won’t be mystified;
She’ll eye those stains by Rontgen rays!
So now whip lather in a bowl
(A regular kind of soap will do)-
Pink as a gerbil’s tongue’s your goal.
Then lay your hand on nestling towels
To varnish as in pamper bars.
We all applaud enamelled nails
That strum imaginary guitars.

That’s very good Chris. I couldn’t get started and lost patience. A proper poem this.
